GCSE English Language and Literature Groups

Weekly 1-Hour Classes

All lessons are delivered live on Zoom. Consistency is key when mastering English GCSE Language and Literature, so our weekly sessions are designed to build skills steadily and confidently.

Small Groups: Maximum of 8 Students

Each class is capped at eight students to ensure active participation and meaningful interaction. Every student engages during the lesson and receives personalised feedback in every session.

Exam-Focused Teaching

Our programme covers all core elements of the English GCSE Language and Literature curriculum, including analytical writing, comprehension skills, exam-style responses, vocabulary development, and guided preparation for both Language and Literature assessments.

Regular Progress Updates

Parents are kept informed of their child’s progress through WhatsApp and email updates. We welcome communication at any stage should parents have questions or concerns about their child’s learning.

Peer Learning with Individual Support

Students benefit from collaborative learning while still receiving individual guidance when needed. Group interaction is encouraged so students gain not only from expert teaching, but also from working alongside motivated peers.

Homework for Reinforcement

A small amount of homework is assigned each week to consolidate learning. Constructive feedback is provided to help students progress and build confidence.

Assessments Throughout the Year

All groups sit formal assessments at Christmas, with additional evaluations in June. Parents receive written feedback highlighting strengths and areas for development. Students approaching their GCSE exams attend focused pre-exam sessions to ensure full preparedness.

Minimum One-Month Commitment

We recommend attending at least one month of classes to see meaningful improvement across reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
